March 2-6 is Reading Week. Ms. Ebbs has a lot of fun things planned for the students during reading week. More info will be coming home soon.
Class & Spring pictures are March 5th. There will also be graduation pictures available for EK, Kindergarten & 8th grade this year. Picture packets for class photos and student spring pictures are attached. Additional packets are available at the front office if needed.
ELA Night will take place on Thursday, March 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP starting March 2 if you would like to attend and enjoy a complimentary pizza dinner from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.
DeSmet School has been accepted into the Read 2 Ride program with Silverwood! This reading challenge is open to all students from EK to 6th grade. Students need to read and document 10 hours of reading between now and March 25. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or Ms. Aho.
Mr. Driessen would like to remind parents and guardians that Door Dash and Uber food deliveries are not permitted for students. Also, per state nutrition guidelines sugary drinks like soda and energy drinks like Red Bull are not permitted at school. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.
The 5th to 8th Grade Science Fair will be held on March 4th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at DeSmet School. Please come and check out our amazing students and their projects
